The illusion of the underdog..

Working hard, toiling hard in relentless pursuit of happiness. Never give up, never give in, it's not about how hard your hit, it's about how you get up once your hit. Stories about being successful against all odds. Being uneducated but successful after going meticulously through the rungs. Labour hard but never worry or ask about the fruits of your Labour. Pursue a materialistic dream as motivation- your own car, your own home, branded watch, branded clothes, going out to fancy clubs, dining in fancy restaurants, buy an iPhone it's a status symbol..don't have money currently no worries use your credit card. Banks are your best friend. Pay taxes and be a good citizen.

The world is heavily loaded against the middle class, placing a net of aspirations as a carrot to toil hard, sacrifice family time for work and replacing purpose with monetary priorities. Every now and then to motivate the backbone of the economy, the humble donkey.. one of its specimens is selected, glorified and made as a role model by the media. Knowing very well, the society needs hands and legs to generate wealth for a few and a little dream of a better life works wonders for middle class aspirations.

Like a wandering soul, away from its destination.. a life is wasted pursuing the trivial, sacrificing the important. I have no time to look after my parents, no time to meet my friends, no time to take care of my health, no time to eat my food, no time to play with my child, no time for my wife....but I am working for the betterment of my spouse, my child, my parents, a vacation for a week in a year...where I will live my life for 7 whole days.

Society is twisted, it needs crime to make people invest in security, it needs poor public transportation to make the populace buy cars, needs your children to go to school to stay uneducated, it needs corruption to breed the odd middle class hero, it needs population to showcase scarcity, it needs sickness to sell medicines, it needs a twisted laws to sell lawyers, accountants, it needs complexities and hindrances to start your own venture to sell a 9 to 5 job, it needs the media to help you make choices, it needs you to have irrelevant wants, needs you to digest propaganda to sell wars, needs your energy to power it's engine
